The Fireside auditions and hires professional singers, dancers and actors from all over the United States. Many come with Broadway and National Tour experience. All of them come with great talent and a passion for their craft. They'll be looking forward to meeting you too - at The Fireside!
Ian Patrick Gibb (Joseph) is honored to make his Fireside debut with JOSEPH! A graduate of Oklahoma City University under the vocal direction of Dr. William Nield Christensen, he was last seen in the ACCC’s production of MY FAIR LADY. Other regional credits: multiple summers with Music Theatre of Wichita where he was featured as Dean Hyde in ALL SHOOK UP, Sir Lionel in CAMELOT, Sgt. Schultz/Chris Cover in MISS SAIGON and The “Springtime for Hitler” Tenor in THE PRODUCERS. Thanks to family and friends for their support! Proud member of AEA.

Michael Haws (Jacob/Potiphar) is very happy to be returning to The Fireside. He has done over thirty productions on this stage, including host of eight Fireside Christmas shows and most recently R.H. Macy in HERE’S LOVE. Other theatres where he has performed include, Marriott Lincolnshire, Drury Lane E.P. and Light Opera Works in Chicago, Beef & Boards in Indy, Fulton Opera in Lancaster, Broadway Palm in Mesa, and The Little Theatre in Illinois. JOKE: Where is the first tennis match mentioned in the Bible? Answer: When Joseph served in Pharaoh's court.
Cooper David Grodin (Pharaoh) was born and raised on the isle of Manhattan, which means the land of many hills. He loves to sing, play piano, compose and play basketball. He has played Danny in GREASE, Javert in LES MIS, Mr. Snow in CAROUSEL. Cooper has sung with the NY Philharmonic, been in the NY premier of Grendel at City Opera directed by Julie Taymor, and been in Zaide as part of the Mostly Mozart Festival directed by Peter Sellars. He was a national finalist in 2009 and 2007 in the Lotte Lenya / Kurt Weill competition. He thanks Kat, family and Yoko.
Ian Frazier (Reuben) is delighted to be returning to The Fireside Theatre after last summer’s production of Disney HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and having another chance to enjoy the beauty of Wisconsin! He is thrilled to be performing in JOSEPH . . . DREAMCOAT. Some of Ian’s other professional credits include THE UNEXPECTED GUEST (Jan Warwick), CHRISTMAS CAROL (Fred), SWING!, URINETOWN, and KISS ME KATE. As always, Ian would like to thank his family and friends for their constant love and support..
Kyle Adams (Simeon) is delighted to make his debut at The Fireside. Recent credits include: THE 25TH ANNUAL...SPELLING BEE and CINDERELLA at The Marriott Linclonshire, RABBIT HOLE (Jason) and the world premiere of JEEVES IN BLOOM at Artists’ Ensemble Theatre, and a summer at The Little Theatre on the Square, performing in CABARET (Ernst Ludwig) and GYPSY (directed by Ed Flesch), among others. Kyle is a new graduate from Rockford College with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Thanks to Ed for the opportunity and Amanda for the endless support.
Mathew Schwartz (Levi) is thrilled to be doing his 11th show at The Fireside! At The Fireside he has been seen in HERE’S LOVE, Disney HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING and many more! Some of his favorite shows include SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN (Cosmo Brown), THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS - US/Germany (Willy), and THRILL ME - SE Premiere (Nathan Leopold). Thanks to Ed, Midge, and the Klopcics for these wonderful experiences and to his amazingly supportive friends and family.
William Nash (Naphtali) recently appeared at The Fireside as Rolf in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and in Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and HERE’S LOVE. Off-Broadway: A KID’S LIFE (York Theatre Company). Regional: Hero in FORUM (Theatre-by-the-Sea), Jack in INTO THE WOODS (Good Theatre), Mark in A CHORUS LINE (Northern Stage), Ren in FOOTLOOSE (Dutch Apple), and Tulsa in GYPSY (Stoneham Theatre and Granbury Opera House). Education: Graduate of both Clemson University and AMDA.
Alexander Arroyo (Issachar) This is Alex's third Fireside show! Professional credits include JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT National Tour (Dan/Joseph US), BROADWAY’S RISING STARS (at Town Hall), UNLOCK'D (New York Musical Theatre Festival), and WEST SIDE STORY (Lyric Stage- directed by Original Broadway cast member Grover Dale). Fireside: A FIRESIDE CHRISTMAS (The Grinch), and HERE’S LOVE (Bailiff). Alex is a proud graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Many thanks Mom & Dad!
Philip Northington (Asher) is thrilled to be making his debut at The Fireside! Regional credits include ON THE TOWN (Papermill Playhouse) and CINDERELLA (Civic Light Opera of SBC). He has also been seen in THE PRODUCERS (New Bedford Festival Theater) and GUYS AND DOLLS (San Diego Musical Theater). Trainee company member of Ballet Magnificat! and graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He is very thankful for all the opportunities God has given him! Philippians 1:5-6.
Tommy Martinez (Dan) is thrilled to be making his Fireside debut in JOSEPH. Most recently he appeared at The Palace Theatre in A CHRISTMAS CAROL and CATS. National Tours include THE WIZARD OF OZ and THE WEDDING SINGER (1st National). Casino shows: THE WEDDING SINGER (Harrah’s Atlantic City), LES FOLLIES BERGERE (Tropicana Resort as an acrobat). Favorite roles: Frankie in FOREVER PLAID, Mark in A CHORUS LINE. Thanks to his three sets of parents, the Ponies, and Cricket.
Doug Reed (Zebulun) This familiar face has appeared in over 80 Fireside productions. Some favorite roles include Gideon in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, Andy Lee in 42ND STREET, Cosmo in SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, Tommy Djilas in THE MUSIC MAN, Paul in KISS ME KATE, Michael Tobin in THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, and Zebulun in both of our previous productions of JOSEPH. Doug is also active as a choreographer and director for various high schools, universities, and community theatres across Southern Wisconsin. Love to “the zoo.”
Geoff Karnish (Gad) A native of Port Washington, Wisconsin, Geoff is thrilled to be performing at The Fireside. His previous professional credits include the Broadway Dinner Theatre in Wisconsin Dells, Northern Lights Playhouse, and the Dazzle Dinner Theatre. Favorite roles: OKLAHOMA! (Curly), YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN (Charlie Brown), and Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (Jack Scott). Geoff holds his BFA in Musical Theatre from UW-LaCrosse and has also studied at London Metropolitan University. Love and thanks to family and friends!
Zachary L. Gray (Benjamin) is thrilled to be making his Fireside debut in JOSEPH! Favorite Regional credits: MEET ME IN ST. Joseph Perkins, Jr. (Judah) is delighted to return to The Fireside, last seen in A FIRESIDE CHRISTMAS ‘08. Regional credits: Little Theatre on the Square (THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE..., HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL), Prather Entertainment Group (SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE, SWING!, AIDA), Forestburgh Playhouse (DAMN YANKEES, CHICAGO, RAGTIME, MY FAIR LADY). Lindsay Moore (Mrs. Potiphar) is thrilled to be returning to The Fireside where she appeared in last season’s production of Disney HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. Other Regional credits include ON THE TOWN (Papermill Playhouse, NJ), THE WEDDING SINGER (1st National Tour/Atlantic City, NJ). She is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a BA in Dance and Communications.
Danielle Dickert Fuhrmann (Ensemble) Fireside credits include A FIRESIDE CHRISTMAS, GUYS AND DOLLS, SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, HERE'S LOVE and WEST SIDE STORY. Danielle performed on Disney Cruise Lines, her favorite role was Cinderella in Disney Dreams. Ballet productions include: The Nutcracker, La Fille Mal Gardee and Coppelia. When Danielle is not performing she loves teaching and choreographing. Thanks to Ed and the Klopcic family. Much love to my family and Ryan, my amazing husband.
Melissa Ryan (Ensemble) is very excited to be making her debut at The Fireside Theatre! A ballet dancer at heart, Melissa began her professional career as a Soloist with The San Diego Ballet. Melissa soon fell in love with theatre in the Vanguard Theatre's productions of GIGI, KISS ME KATE and APPLAUSE. Other credits include The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Redlands Summer Bowl '06 and Long Beach Ballet Asia tour of ALADDIN. Melissa wanted to thank Mom, Dad, Nana and Jason for all their love and support.
Lauren Sprance (Ensemble) is excited to be here at The Fireside! Upon receiving her BFA in Dance from the University of Massachusetts, Lauren has danced her way around the world on Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Favorite roles include Patsy in CRAZY FOR YOU, Silly Girl in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, The Frug Girl in SWEET CHARITY (Mac-Haydn Theater), and Tintinabula in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (Theater by the Sea). She thanks her family for their endless support and The Fireside for this opportunity.
